A professor recently asked all the graduating seniors to prepare some ideas of what life is going to look like after college. Meaning "Hey guys the economy sucks, and artists don't make that much money anyway let's not only figure out how to advance you career but also the luxury of eating" in dance program speak. So that is what my Sunday is devoted to. I am exploring the options of some larger decisions. I think my life is definataly going to be a patchwork post-graduation. I plan on auditioning for companies and performance opportunites, as well as producing my own work. I also would like to teach dance through a school or studio. I may also looking into getting some massage thearpy or yoga instruction schooling. The recession cherry on top I will also be looking into temp and resturant work as well... thank God I have that college degree.
In other news BOTH my pieces were selected for full production! I am very happy. I recieved some interesting feedback from the panel. I am implementing some opinions, exploring others, discarding a few. The dates of the show are Dec. 4th-6th and Dec. 9th-11th.
